Klaus Lenz ph.D., physicist with technical background in smart materials and intelligent actuators. Since 1989 working with the European Commission under service contracts and in the management of R&D projects. He founded the company in 1997 and is the managing director of SYNCOM.
Simon Kühner ph.D. graduated in environmental sciences (Dep. of chemistry) in Oldenburg and received a ph.D in microbiology from the University of Bremen for his work on anaerobic, crude oil-degrading bacteria. In 2006 he joined SYNCOM and became responsible for the project management of the Integrated Project "Renewable fuels for advanced powertrains".
Kathrin Ludewig graduated in the International Degree Course in technical and applied Biology at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen. During her diploma thesis she studied the extra cellular protease activity of marine microorganisms and their application in the industry. She has several years experience in clinical research. She joined SYNCOM in 2011 and is responsible for the project management of the collaborative project BioBoost.
Mini Bajaj, PhD did Masters of Technology in Environmental Science and Engineering from Guru Jambheshwar University at Hisar, India and received doctorate in Environmental Engineering from University of Karlsruhe for her dissertation on treatment of phenolic wastewaters in suspension and fixed bed bioreactors. Before joining SYNCOM in 2016, she was employed as a scientist at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has several years of experience in the area of microbial bioremediation, waste and wastewater treatment.
Angelika Riechers, joined SYNCOM in 1997 and takes care of the organisation and preparation of international meetings and the secretarial support.
Jens Urbanski, graduated in economics at the University Oldenburg. Since 2004 he supports the projects in the daily administration and maintains the online project intranets and web sites.
